Accessible Applications for Vote by Mail

Voters will qualify to AVBM if they have a print disability* which prohibits them from independently reading, marking, and verifying a vote by mail ballot. 

*A print disability is a temporary or permanent physical or mental impairment such as blindness, low vision, physical dexterity limitation, learning or cognitive disability, which prevents a person from the effective reading, writing, or use of printed material.

By Mail

The last day ballots can be mailed is 5 days prior to the election. The ballot needs to be postmarked by Election Day and must be received within 2 weeks of the election.

Please note that if you will be out of the country for the election, you may complete and return an FPCA form (PDF).

Note: Election mail cannot be forwarded.
