[ARCHIVED] Ribbon Cutting for Ballot Drop Box

Peoria County – On Wednesday, September 23, at 11:00 a.m., the Peoria County Election Commission will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the installation and launch of Peoria County’s first Ballot Drop Box. The celebration will take place outside of the Election Commission’s building, located at 4422 Brandywine Drive, Suite 1, in Peoria.

The Drop Box installation was completed earlier this month near the entrance of the Election Commission’s parking lot. Starting September 24, the Drop Box will be available with 24/7 surveillance for Peoria County residents to safely deposit their Vote by Mail Ballots for the 2020 General Election. The first round of Vote by Mail Ballots will be sent to Peoria County residents beginning Thursday, September 24.
